# Dutch Oven Bread

## Ingredients
|
|
|
|
- 375ml warm water¹
|
|
- 180g white flour
|
|
- 180g brown flour
|
|
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
|
|
- ¼ tablespoon yeast
|
|
- 1 tablespoon of salt
|
|
|
|
¹ Slightly less if you are only using white flour.
|
|
|
|
## Method
|
|
|
|
1. Mix all dry ingredients in a large glass or ceramic bowl.
|
|
2. Gently integrate the warm water.
|
|
3. Cover bowl with saran wrap and leave to sit for three hours.
|
|
4. Sprinkle some white flour on a clean surface and gently knead / roll so the dough is no longer sticky (only thirty seconds or so).
|
|
5. Place some cooking paper in a glass or ceramic bowl and set the dough in it. Leave for 30 minutes.
|
|
6. Pre-heat the oven to 230°C/450°F.
|
|
7. Place the dough in a dutch oven (or pan covered with aluminum foil) and bake for 30 minutes.
|
|
8. Remove the lid (or aluminum foil), remove the baking paper, and place the bread back into the oven for 15 minutes.
|
|
|
|
## Notes
|
|
I bake in the middle rack.
|
