This allows me to use Hugo's image resizing to create img srcsets where the client downloads an appropriate image depending on their screen size. I had to go back and find original photos for each of these posts because Hugo was resizing my already-optimized versions and they looked horrible. Unfortunately I couldn't find originals for these posts: - aqaba-dirty-disappointing - contemporary-arab-design-jrf-showroom - eid-mubarak-neighborhood-dumpster - no-noise-near-noisy-mosque - red-orange-yellow-rice-bab-al-yemen Hugo will fall back to looking in the static directory for these.

<p>على ما يبدو أنّ هناك قوسين تمّ بناؤهما حوالي سنة 130 ميلاديّاً تكريماً للإمبراطور الرُّوماني هادريان — أحدهما في <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%B3_%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%86_(%D8%A3%D8%AB%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%A7)">أثينا</a> والآخر في <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%B3_%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%86_(%D8%AC%D8%B1%D8%B4)">جرش</a>. الأوّل جرت حوله دراسات أكثر بلا شكّ، ولكن هذا الأخير هو الأكثر جمالاً بكلّ موضوعية! رُبّما بسبب لون الحِجَارة في وَضَحِ النّهار، أو المعالم المعماريّة غير التّقليديّة، أو مُجرّد حَجْمه الهَائِل.</p></description>

<p>على الرُّغْمِ من عَدَمِ وُجُودِها فِعْليّاً في الأُردُن، إلا أنَّ فإنَّ <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%82%D8%A8%D8%A9_%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%B5%D8%AE%D8%B1%D8%A9">قُبَّةَ الصَّخْرَةِ</a> في القُدْس تَقَعُ على مَرْمَى حَجَر مِنْ عَمَّان (أَقْصِدُ التَّوْرِية).

إنّ هذا المَقَام ليس فقط مُتوَّج بِقُبَّةٍ ذَهَبِيَّة، ومُغَطَّى بالبلاط العُثْمَانِيّ النَّابِض بالحَيَاة، ومُزَخْرَف بالخَطِّ العَرَبِيّ الأَنِيق، بَلْ يَفْخر أيضًا بسِيرَةٍ مُدهِشةٍ حول الأَحَقِّيات المُقدّسة التي اِشْتُهِرَ بِهَا.</p></description>

<p>كان <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A3%D9%86%D8%A8%D8%A7%D8%B7_(%D8%B4%D8%B9%D8%A8)">الأنباطُ</a> قبيلةً أصبحت غَنيّة غِنىً فاحِشاً من تِجَارَةِ اللِّبان والمُرّ والبهارات في شِبْهِ الجَزِيرَة العربيّة مُنذ حوالي أَلْفَي سنة. بَنُوا البَتْرَاء عَاصِمَةً لِحَضارَتِهم المُزْدَهِرَة. الوَاجِهَاتُ الحَجَرِيَّةُ الجَمِيلَة السَّاحِرَة — التي يَبْلُغُ طُولها مِئَة مِتْر — ما زالت سَلِيمةً بِشَكْلٍ مُدْهِشٍ، ومَحْمِيَّةً بشَكْلٍ جَيِّد إلى يَوْمِنَا هذا.</p></description>
