This allows me to use Hugo's image resizing to create img srcsets where the client downloads an appropriate image depending on their screen size. I had to go back and find original photos for each of these posts because Hugo was resizing my already-optimized versions and they looked horrible. Unfortunately I couldn't find originals for these posts: - aqaba-dirty-disappointing - contemporary-arab-design-jrf-showroom - eid-mubarak-neighborhood-dumpster - no-noise-near-noisy-mosque - red-orange-yellow-rice-bab-al-yemen Hugo will fall back to looking in the static directory for these.

<p>على ما يبدو أنّ هناك قوسين تمّ بناؤهما حوالي سنة 130 ميلاديّاً تكريماً للإمبراطور الرُّوماني هادريان — أحدهما في <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%B3_%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%86_(%D8%A3%D8%AB%D9%8A%D9%86%D8%A7)">أثينا</a> والآخر في <a href="https://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%82%D9%88%D8%B3_%D9%87%D8%A7%D8%AF%D8%B1%D9%8A%D8%A7%D9%86_(%D8%AC%D8%B1%D8%B4)">جرش</a>. الأوّل جرت حوله دراسات أكثر بلا شكّ، ولكن هذا الأخير هو الأكثر جمالاً بكلّ موضوعية! رُبّما بسبب لون الحِجَارة في وَضَحِ النّهار، أو المعالم المعماريّة غير التّقليديّة، أو مُجرّد حَجْمه الهَائِل.</p>

<p>على أيِّ حال، من الصّعب أن تَفُوتك فُرصة زيارة هذا القوس الحجري الكبير القريب من بداية الموقع الأثري اليوناني الروماني عند دخولك جرش. أُوصي بزيارتهِ في الصّباح أو في وقت متأخّر بعد الظُّهر، فقد تكون الشّمس قويّة في مُنتصف النّهار.</p>
