<p>تَعَرَّضَ الأُردُنُّ نَتِيجَةَ مَوْقِعهِ الجُغْرَافِيِّ في “الشَّرْقِ الأَدْنَى” إلى عَشَرَاتِ الحَضَارَاتِ عَبْرَ التَّارِيخ. فَخِلالَ الثَّلاثَةِ آلافِ سَنَةٍ المَاضِيَةِ وَحْدَهَا، وبِشَكْلٍ مُسْتَمِرٍّ قَدْ وَقَعَتِ المِنْطَقَةُ تَحْتَ حُكْمِ الإِمْبَراطُورِيَّةِ الفَارِسِيَّةِ واليُونَانِيَّةِ والنَّبَطِيَّةِ والرُّومانِيَّةِ والبِيزَنْطِيَّةِ والعَرَبِيَّةِ والعُثْمَانِيَّةِ، ولا يَزَالُ تُراثُ هَذِهِ الحَضَارَاتِ ظَاهِراً حَتَّى اليَوْمِ.</p>
