Vratsa Is a Picturesque Thracian City

The picturesque little city of Vratsa (Враца) sits at the foothills of the Balkan Mountains in Northwest Bulgaria. Village of Gela, Birthplace of Orpheus

These are the Rhodope Mountains in the golden afternoon sunlight of early spring.
